Every birthworker should know the ins and outs of taking someone's vitals. Precipitous births happen, and if you are the only one there, it's helpful to know how someone is doing through blood pressure, pulse, and respirations if you're unsure what is happening, especially if hemorrhaging.

In this class, I will be teaching how to correctly take blood pressure, pulse, and count respirations, and we will be practicing on each other. If you already have a blood pressure cuff, please bring it, otherwise I will have some for you to use. We will also be discussing what all of this information means.

The cost of the class is $20. You can pay for this through venmo, paypal, or with cash before the event or the day of. You will receive a receipt to use for business expenses.

If you need a babysitter, please let me know. I have a 13 year old that can be available for $10 per child.
