Birth is unpredictable, and one of the biggest aspects of that unpredictability is hemorrhage and blood loss. Seeing someone bleed can be really scary, but one of the best ways to combat the fear is to learn about blood loss, learn to estimate it, and learn what the signs are that someone needs help.

In this class we will be learning about hemorrhage and how to estimate the amount of blood someone losses. We will have different mediums, such as chux pads, kidney bowls, pads, a toilet. We will not be estimating blood loss in a birth pool, but will learn how to do it. We will also be learning about the signs of hypovolemic shock as it relates to blood loss in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

The cost of the class is $20. You can pay for this through venmo, paypal, or with cash before the event or day of. You will receive a receipt to use for business expenses.
